First the whole worrying thing on Monday, then the horrible news on Tuesday, and then it kept getting worse, coming off on the most horrible presentation EVER on Friday. This whole week was one blur stoning boring experience.

X-men 3. yes. i haven't watched it yet. But people pei me and told me that Cyclops die, while making joke about superman killing cyclops. tulan betul.

Sin City. I didn't realise it came out long ago till just recently. It probably was banned here, so it means have to resort to fan ban vcd or a copy. I saw a clip from it for Jessica Alba's Sexiest Performance in the MTV movie awards. I think it'll be worth the effort looking for the movie :D

Brokeback Mountain. WTH! I haven't watched the movie of the century. mustmustmustmust watch. Considering that even though it was banned from local cinemas, almost everybody I know who's a movie fan has watched it...paiseh la.

Pirates 3. I think for sure I will watch it in the cinemas, since it's gotten good reviews.

Nacho Libre. Jack Black! guaranteed laugh till tears come to your eyes, sides hurt, you fall off your chair, popcorn tak masuk mulut.

So I hope I get to watch something in the starlight cinema. It's an experience I definitely want to have, since the only year I had the opportunity to go, I couldn't :(

What first day..

The first day of term was a total letdown. In fact I shan't even call it First Day. As far as I'm concerned, the first day of sem 2 is tomorrow. bleh.

I spent like, a couple of hours at college with Tun and Jay, and we lazed at the lounge for a bit while i kacau-ed some other people by calling and waking them up :D. The only reason Tun and I were at college was to pay fees, which barely took a minute, because all I did was drop it into a box. God knows why Jay came, but better la, more people to hang out with.

Then we went to some mamak place bistro, and Linda joined us for a bit. Tun sent me home, and on the way I think he got caught speeding at the speedtrap. -_-' i wouldn't know, I don't know how these things work.

During lunch I had a moment where I coughed while chewing and food must have somehow traveled the wrong way. Because later something was irritating and annoying my nose, and so I grabbed tissue and blew it out. OMg.

It turned out to be a grain of rice.

Anaz 'Thasya' turns legal

On Friday, I made my way by public transport to Taylors Subang so i could borrow a couple of books and to meet up with Anaz. After failing to borrow books because i haven't paid my fees yet, I had a game of pool with Anaz, until her sister called because she didn't have keys to the house. So we pack up, pay RM0.50, and Anaz drives us to Kelana Jaya. Havoc la, her driving. 8/10.. deduct points because she always scolds the people on the road. :D

After we head back to school and pick up Francine (while waiting we ogled at guys ;D), we chill in her room and freshen up. I start freaking when I check my phone, and realize we should have started the drive to Kar's house 15 minutes ago. When we finally reach Kar's house, I mumbled something about Kareen being late and not ready just so I could get Anaz to park her car

While chilling in Kar's room, we naturally turn to more vain pursuits...

The thing was, we were actually going to surprise Anaz with her college friends, hence the ploy to get her out of the car and to chill in Kar's room, which was the meet up point.

What the hell happened to my lying skills, man.. Anyway, Kareen finally went down to 'get something from her friend who was dropping something off' and TADA! SURPRISE!

We split into 2 cars, then head off to KLCC's California Pizza Kitchen. We got the private room, so we could make all the noise we wanted. You know one thing I like about the private room? It's located right at the back of the restaurant, and you have to walk past all the other diners to the room. And as you walk, people turn and look, and I always secretly smirk and think "Nyeh nyeh, we got the private room.. nyeh nyeh, you have to eat out here hahahahahaha"

We had a good time, it's been so long since we had a lot of free time to just chat and catch up over a meal, and not be rushed to go to a movie or something. I got to meet Anaz's college friends, who were all cool friendly people. I haven't laughed so much since holidays started.

There were five cameras there belonging to Me, Calvin, Beth, Grace and Kareen, so naturally a lot of picture taking. We made the poor waitress take like 10 shots with all of us in the same position because of all our cameras :D should have left her a bigger tip, come to think of it. Ah well, that's what service tax is for.

I think I may have gotten carried away with the lighting of the candles, come to think of it. There was a whole box of matches and so many candles to light...

The Cuppacakes were sugary treats, very pretty and certainly a welcome difference from the traditional birthday cake. Do go and visit their website, can die from prettiness overload.

It was wonderful meeting Anaz's friends, and spending some quality time with my favourite gals. God, when's the next birthday.. I can't wait.

Funny accents

I'm watching the chinese movie The Irresistable Women on 8TV. It's about these four ugly Pork Chop women who undergo all sorts of beauty makeovers to correct their 'defects' (i.e. bald spots, crooked teeth bla bla bla) so they can take revenge on their ex employers. Anyway, one of the people who treat them badly first is this Ang Moh fella (boss la of course) who is very preverted. (He's actually quite funny la, but that's not the point) He is the jovial type and picks up the cantonese lingo and calls them lang loi (pretty girl) after he sees their transformation.

photoshop woes

My photoshop software trial that i spent HOURS downloading from adobe.com expired. Before i could edit photos from Anaz's Bday. Before i could add sparkles and edit the brightness and put nice captions. :(

So many blogs have nice photos that are obviously the result of some kind of image editing software (I'd put my money on photoshop), but takkan they all bought the original versions right...

My photoshop cd that i purchased a while back from MV doesn't quite work. Maybe it's because of the authentic trial version that expired. That plus the fact that i stupidly forgot to ask the fella for the serial number to go along with the cd. I'm going to hentam that fat fella one fine day, when i get the chance to go back there minus the parents plus guts.

I would give other photo editing softwares a shot, but the brushes I've downloaded work only with photoshop! My lovely lovely brushes! *wail*

Anybody know where to get a working photoshop cd (preferably cs2).. aw man, 20 bucks down the drain.
